Intuitional Review committee with collaboration Department of community medicine of NAIHS hosted a five days Training on Basic research methodology targeting students enrolled in Post Graduate program in this intuition. Training was conducted for 5 days i.e. from 27th- 31thMay 2018 (13thto 17thJestha 2075).
The objective of this workshop was to introduce the basics of research methodology and to teach how to write a research proposal for Candidates enrolled in Post Graduate program.
The opening of Ceremony was inaugurated by chief guest of program Maj. Gen. Prof. Dr. Bacchu Ram K.C. (Rtd),ED of NAIHSin the preeaence of other delicateBrig Gen DrBhairab Kumar Hamal (Rtd), Deputy ED of NAIHS, Prof Dr. LochanaShrestha, Chairman of IRC, Head of Department (Community Medicine)NAIHS and Faculties of NAIHS.The Master of the ceremony, MajDrBikalShrestha, formally opened the training with a welcome of speech fromMaj. Gen. Prof. Dr. Bacchu Ram K.C. (Rtd), ED of NAIHSFocused on importance of research in PG level and with key note message on ethics that are to be followed during the execution of their thesis. Likewise Prof Dr. LochanaShresthadiscussed on the area of Getting proposal accepted by the IRC and Functions of IRC as well as role of IRC to get research published.
In total 35 participantsincludingFivecandidates enrolled for Master in Nursing got training about basics of research methodology. Training highlighted the areas likedesigning research,basic statics, referencing articles and other various issues that might help during the accomplishment of Research Thesis.
