• Manuscript Writing Workshop for Authors on 20th June 2018 Medical Journal of Shree Birendra Hospital organized the workshop. The participants were from different institutions from Nepal and India. Resource persons were from Nepal and Pakistan.
• Faculty Development Workshop in Problem Based Learning – A Blended workshop from 22 July to 2nd August The workshop was blended, with distance and on site sessions. Distance sessions were for 9 days followed by 2 days on site sessions. Participants were the faculties of NAIHS- College of medicine. Resource persons were from NAIHS, Patan Academy of Health Sciences and FAIMER institute, Philadelphia, United States. It was organized by College of Medicine and received education credits of 15 points.
• Faculty Development workshop in Positive Deviance - Faculty Development workshop in Positive Deviance was organized by Medical Education Department and College of Medical Polytechnic COMP) of NAIHS. It was a one-day workshop organized for faculty members of college of medical polytechnic on 7thJuly 2018.
Col Dr Sudha Sen Malla, Principal of COMP gave the opening address. The workshop was facilitated by Maj Dr Rishi Pokhrel, Capt Dr Samrat Sapkota and Mr Mahesh Bhusal. Certificate distribution and closing of
the workshop was done by Prof Dr Tara Man Amatya and Col Dr Sudha Sen Malla.
The workshop received educational credit of 4 points from Nepal Medical Association.
